Given the current state of our world, it is a great question.
We have been planning for 10 week-long #summercamp sessions in 2020 for quite some time. And despite Coronavirus / COVID-19, we continue to plan for the hope that we will be back to normal soon.
Without leaps of imagination or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all is a form of planning. - Gloria Steinem
Governor Cooper has laid out his plan for our state to get back to normal. The phases he has identified are fluid and subject to change dependent upon how our community's curve is impacted. We are continuing to monitor events as they unfold and evaluate information once it has been made available to us.
For Next Step Clubhouse, the decision to have or not have summer camp is complicated. Our top priority is the care, welfare, and safety of everyone in our organization while providing quality programming. We appreciate your patience as we work through this process of determining whether or not we can provide the best programming possible while keeping our campers safe. Once we have made the decision on summer camp, we will let you know.
We can't wait to see you again regardless of when that is!
